9 Easy Feng Shui Gift Ideas - Day 2
9 Days of Easy Feng Shui Gift ideas that I will be sharing with you over the next few weeks. (If you missed the gift ideas for Day 1, check them out here). In Feng Shui, we use a compass called the Bagua (bah-gwah), divided into 9 areas of life that correspond to specific areas in your home or space. Typically, we use it to analyze how the areas of your space are impacting the corresponding areas of your life. I use the Bagua in my day-to-day life in many different ways, including selecting gifts.
To use the Bagua and apply it to your space, the entrance is always along the side of the Knowledge/Career/Travel areas, and you are facing the Wealth/Fame/Relationships areas.
Today, we will look at the area we call Wealth & Prosperity, which is about financial wealth and prosperity, and at a higher level, the abundance in your life. On the Bagua, Wealth & Prosperity is on the rear left, the colors purple, green, red, blue, and the element is wood. My favorite gift ideas for Wealth & Prosperity are:
Plants - my go-to gift plants are Money trees (yes, there really is such a thing!), Bamboo, and Jade, or other succulents. The key is healthy, green plants. When they are placed in the Wealth & Prosperity area, their live energy enhances prosperity and abundance in the home. If you want to gift the plant in a pot, I recommend getting a blue, green, or teal pot to energize the area further.
Amethyst Crystals - are very powerful stones used in many traditions for various purposes, including clarity of the mind, meditation, emotional balance, and many forms of healing. In Feng Shui, they also energize your abundance in the wealth & prosperity area and add a beautiful touch of purple.
The most important thing we recommend is when selecting, packaging, and sending or giving your gift, do it with Intention. In Feng Shui, we say, Intention is everything. It is the thing that makes it special and magical. Everyday Feng Shui. It's all right here. Feel free to share any insights or experiences you may have. I always love to hear your ideas and thoughts! With love and blessings, Kate
