Some things are worth repeating every year! New Year is a time of celebrating the completion of the past year and creating a new year. The start of a new year is the perfect time to let go of those things that no longer serve you and call in what you would like going forward—both in your inner and outer worlds. I always think it is a great time to get back to basics. Here are highlights of 9 tips from an oldie but goodie blog post I wrote on Feng Shui Basics for the AstroTwins as their Resident Feng Shui Expert: 9 Ways to Balance Your Home and Energy
Visualize your favorite place, one of my favorite exercises to help you get in touch with your own inner sense of Feng Shui.
Set an intention for areas of your life, setting aside time to think, visualize and write about what you desire as a way of bringing them into your life.
Get rid of that clutter! By decluttering your space, you declutter your mind.
Have a daily Feng Shui practice of putting things away "in their homes."
Keep out only the things you are working on and put away everything else. This creates clarity, which results in ease and productivity.
Make your bedroom a sanctuary, a place of rest, restoration, and relationships, and not a place for work or business.
Connect with your emotions as you declutter. It's a big part of letting go of what no longer serves you and making space for what you truly desire.
Ask for support as you declutter. The work can sometimes be deep and profound.
Easy does it but do it, only doing one item or one area at a time.
