Creative Vision During COVID and Beyond Using Feng Shui
Today is about creating a vision for now and in the future using Feng Shui.
During the past six months, it has been a time of hunkering down at home, for many working or going to school from home. For others, a pause to think about what they might be doing, a time of reassessing what is meaningful, changing priorities, and for some if they can move, where they might want to be going.
Recently, I had the honor to be a guest on The Design You Podcast with Designer Tobi Fairley, where we talk about how to use Feng Shui in your home, in your office, in your space to create the life that you want. And that might mean creating what you wish to have right now today, or it might be in using it to manifest or create what you want in the future.
We talk about the feeling of Feng Shui and how important it is to have a home where you feel supported and safe, and where you get restored. It creates peace and healthy and reduces stress, and it happens at a lot of levels.
We all know it is crazy out there in the world, not just during coronavirus but in general. There's technology, chaos, traffic, smog, noise, and a million things happening out in the world. And having our home be an oasis is more critical now than ever.
During our conversation, we touch on many key elements and components of the practice of Feng shui and how to apply them. And why you don't have to understand or believe in Feng Shui to benefit from it.
And most importantly, and here is the key to any vision, Feng Shui is about intention. We say intention is everything. To powerfully set an intention, say it in the present tense as if it is already here, using only positive terms. In this mindset, close your eyes and allow yourself experience your vision with all your sense -- sight, taste, smell, touch, and sounds.
When we make adjustments supporting our intention, we energetically start moving in that direction and start attracting what we desire.
Check out my conversation with Tobi, How Feng Shui Can Change Your Life, and share any insights or results you have about creating a vision for yourself and your life. I would love to hear from you!
Everyday Feng Shui. It's all right here.
With love and blessings, Kate
